(horses on the latvia/ russia border)
we are now in camapa in the food section of a shopping centre a little bit like the ilford exchange. it has a bouncy castle and arcade games also.
daddy would like to request that anyone who is out there reading this writes a comment on our blog so that daddy knows people are reading it and for some interaction.
last night we had some more visiters to our tent (outside a grave yard). the were a group of young 'lads'. daddy went out in his underwear; this coupled with language barrier caused much amusement. they stayed for 1 1/4 hours, during which time daddy said that he loved everything about russia, we heard some more techno russian beats (on phone- also used to take pictures of daddy and tessie). as they were drunk (the 'lads') they left only after autographs were exchanged. we were reliably informed that one of the boys saw putin's son.
we have not stayed in a campsite now for over a week and are not feeling too clean.
camapa is around the urals and has lots of pretty, but run-down, houses lining the streets.
we have recently been driving further than we need to so that when we come to the less tarmaced roads closer to mongolia we can afford to go a bit slower. we travel over 200 miles a day.
we are hoping to find a campsite tonight but it is getting late and we are told that water and the washing up bowl will be fine.

Hello to you all. We are loving following your adventures so keep up the bloging. Glad you are all well. We are about to start our holidays, camping in Devon and a house in Holland, so we have nothing on you - I have jyst looked the Urals up - they seem a very long way form E11. Keep well. Tim. Hello from Epping Green from REeve Reggie Granny and Cherry.
Giggling like mad at the escapades, spelling and comments.
Glad you are all filthy-it will only get worse!
Granny is good and absolutely delighted to receive card and letters-she is amazingly still in one piece but what will happen when she gets aboard ship is anyones guess.
R,R and C are passing through on way to France to show Reg kitchen that R and C built the other week- as one does you know!
Great that Loong has not lost the will to live and has still managed to put pen to paper despite it being her GAP year thought all the exams might have made her go on strike. Hope Lewis is now fluent in russian-I blame the tutor!!!!
Glad Wilma and Vera performing well despite Dwight's best endeavours!

Hello there.
It is Friday 27 Sept. 2013, 10.45 pm in Singapore and yes I am late in reading your travel blog but only just found it.
Most amused following your witty writing, I recommend to continue. It helps me to imagine your trip as a slapstick documentary.
Brilliant. Thank you. Wonder how long it will take me to finish it.
Doubtlessly excellent as it prevents me consuming useless TV and unhealthy liquids.
Keep going!
