In 200 miles we will officially be geographically in Europe

We have found that driving through Istanbul at night is a highly interesting experience and are looking forward to doing our token spot of sightseeing in the morning: this will consist of us driving along what we think is a scenic road but is probably just a posh road. we saw a yaht and everthing.

daddy is really racking up the roadkill points and today he managed to kill over some kind of game bird. most upsetting as this was a lovely creature and not just a mangy dog like the last hit. he will try to blame the icy roads but wilma only had wheel spin due to extreme weather (even the trucks stopped) later in the day.
snow and ice continues. 'white christmas' on repeat.
here are some photographs taken in pakistan and iran. make of them what you will for we are tired and we are actually staying in a decent guesthouse for once.

Enjoying the photos. Especially of the strangely confused man.

No snow over New Year here, it waited until yesterday when we were all back in the office (which is also freezing).

Well done chaps - you must be in europe by now. I have been clearing the trollet today - making ready for lewis and Tessie to draw, colour and play. Had snow for a few days but cleared today and sun shining. See you soon Have left christmas tree up with your bags of mysteries beneath! Love G.

You guys must have gone like the clappers!!! When is your eta for the UK? We've elected not to drive back on the basis that we are unsure what sort of a job the thais have done on our car although naturally we've spent a load of money on it. South of Mackay in Oz and being doing loads of camping believe it or not. Heading north twds cyclones! Oz has been great - we fly back on the 15th Feb so must meet up once I have my 12 hour audio visual extravaganza with commentary sorted out. I take it theres snow everywhere and its very cold?
